Georges Clemenceau’s birthplace nominated for European Museum of the Year award

After the “bronze gesture” award at the “Le Geste d’Or” architecture competition in 2018,

After winning first prize for public amenities in 2019 from the CAUE de Vendée for its rehabilitation, tied with the reception building for Georges Clemenceau’s house and gardens in Saint Vincent sur Jard.

Georges Clemenceau’s birthplace nominated for 2020 European Museum of the Year award

60 European museums and 3 French museums were nominated for the 2020 prize ( Sir John Monash Centre Fouilloy, France – Musée de Lodève Lodève, France – Musée National Clemenceau-de Lattre Mouilleron Saint Germain, France).

The announcement of the winners and the official EMYA awards ceremony will take place at the European Museum Forum’s annual conference. It will be organized by Amgueddfa Cymru National Museum Wales, in Cardiff, UK, from April 29 to May 2, 2020.
